Vitamin K, for those of you who don't know, is supposedly a great remedy for broken capillaries (a ruddy face in other words – not to be confused with rosacea) and dark under eye circles. I normally use Medik8's vitamin K creme, which is excellent, so I thought I'd give this a go, since it's somewhat less expensive.
Well, Medik8 has got a higher concentration of vitamin K, and I see an improvement in my ruddiness within a few days. With this, I haven't noticed any such immediate improvement. This creme is also quite heavy and probably better for drier skins, whereas the Medik8 is more for normal/combo skins. As a moisturizer this is good.
I can't really say anything about the effect on broken capillaries or under eye circles, since I haven't used it more than a few days at a time, but I'm sure that if it works in other cremes, the vitamin K will surely work in this as well. Maybe it just takes a bit longer. As with all 'natural' products, it contains plenty of herbs and such, which might cause problems for persons with allergies or sensitive skin.
